- Prepare the Pie Crust: If using store-bought crusts, let them sit at room temperature as per package instructions. For homemade crusts, roll out and fit one into a pie dish.
- Make the Apple Filling: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Peel, core, and slice the apples to about 1/4-inch thickness. Place them in a large bowl. Add lime juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and cornstarch/flour. Mix gently until apples are evenly coated.
