These light and flavorful dumplings offer a delightful combination of crispy rice paper, tender shrimp, and fresh chives. They’re perfect as a starter or a main course.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Rice paper wrappers (6-inch diameter) 20
Cooked shrimp, finely chopped 1 pound
Chives, chopped ¼ cup
Garlic, minced 2 cloves
Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
Sesame oil 1 teaspoon
Freshly ground black pepper ¼ teaspoon
Olive oil or non-stick cooking spray For greasing
Dipping sauce of your choice Optional

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Prepare filling: Combine shrimp, chives, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Soften wrappers: Dip rice paper wrappers in warm water for 5-10 seconds, then place on a towel.
  4. Assemble dumplings: Place filling in the center of each wrapper, fold sides, and roll up.
  5. Bake dumplings: Arrange on the baking sheet, brush with oil, and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Serve: Let cool slightly and serve with your desired dipping sauce.
