After her divorce, Lyn embarked on a dancing career in Acapulco. Her unique style quickly caught the attention of television producers, leading to appearances on the popular show Siempre en Domingo. This newfound fame brought her to the attention of Enrique Lombardini, who invited her to perform in burlesque productions at Teatro Esperanza Iris. Initially hesitant, Lyn embraced the burlesque aesthetic, becoming renowned for her performances in the Ficheras films of the 1970s and 1980s.

However, as the popularity of these films waned, so too did Lyn’s fame. Undeterred, she made a triumphant return to the spotlight in the late 1990s, appearing in music videos, TV shows, and documentaries. Behind her glamorous public persona, however, lay a tragic personal life. In 1989, she married businessman Antonio Chi Su, but their happiness was short-lived as he passed away from prostate cancer in 2008. Lyn later revealed that she had exhumed her husband’s body and slept beside it as she struggled to cope with her grief.
