Pioneer Woman’s Apple Dumplings Recipe

These classic apple dumplings are a comforting and delicious dessert, perfect for a cozy evening. The sweet apple filling is wrapped in flaky crescent dough and baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients:

| Pillsbury Crescent Dough | 1 can | 
| Butter | 1/2 cup | 
| Sugar | 2/3 cup | 
| Cinnamon | 1/2 teaspoon | 
| Vanilla | 1/2 teaspoon | 
| 7-Up or equivalent | 3/4 cup (or 6 ounces) | 
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Cut the apple into 8-10 wedges and remove the skin.
- Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles.
- Roll each apple wedge in a crescent roll triangle, starting from the wide end. Pinch to seal and place in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the sugar and cinnamon. Heat, whisking to combine, until thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
- Pour the cinnamon mixture over the apple dumplings.
- Pour the 7-Up over the dumplings.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
