I had a weakness for Nestle Crunch bars recipe when I was pregnant with my twins in 1995

These delicious and easy-to-make crunch bars are a healthy and satisfying snack or dessert. They’re naturally gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, and can be made sugar-free.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Crispy rice cereal 3 cups
Chocolate chips 1 1/2 cups
Peanut butter (or other nut/seed butter) 1 cup
Maple syrup 1/2 cup
Coconut oil (or grass-fed butter) 1/4 cup

Instructions:

  1. Prepare baking dish: Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Combine cereal: Place the crispy rice cereal in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Melt chocolate mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Heat until melted and whisk until smooth.
  4. Combine ingredients: Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the crispy rice cereal and mix until well combined.
  5. Pour into dish: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Refrigerate: Refrigerate until firm, at least 1 hour.
  7. Cut and serve: Remove from the fridge and cut into bars.
