Ingredients:

For the Cinnamon Filling:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Dough:

  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the filling.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick baking mix and milk until a soft dough forms.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it a few times until smooth. Roll the dough into a rectangle approximately 9×12 inches.
  5. Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the butter.
  6. Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
  7. Using a sharp knife or a piece of dental floss, cut the log into 8 equal-sized rolls. Place the rolls in the greased baking pan, with the swirl side facing up.
  8. Bake the cinnamon rolls in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. While the cinnamon rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk if needed.
  10. Once the cinnamon rolls are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.
  11. Serve the Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls warm and enjoy!
