Ingredients:
For the Cinnamon Filling:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
For the Dough:
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan.
- In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the filling.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick baking mix and milk until a soft dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it a few times until smooth. Roll the dough into a rectangle approximately 9×12 inches.
- Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the butter.
- Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
- Using a sharp knife or a piece of dental floss, cut the log into 8 equal-sized rolls. Place the rolls in the greased baking pan, with the swirl side facing up.
- Bake the cinnamon rolls in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the cinnamon rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk if needed.
- Once the cinnamon rolls are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.
- Serve the Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls warm and enjoy!
