In the wake of a fairytale union with her beloved Jeremy Scheuch, Danielle Colby, the prominent figure from American Pickers, conveyed heart-wrenching news via her Instagram.

Jeremy’s father, whom she lovingly called Papa John, has departed from this world.

The “Queen of Rust” and her long-time partner, Jeremy, exchanged vows in a picturesque ceremony in Puerto Rico. Danielle donned an eye-catching azure gown, its train flowing gracefully, while her groom also embraced a similarly vivid blue attire, as reported by The Sun.

Jeremy had earlier taken to social media to share the joyous anticipation of their impending nuptials, with a touching post that read: “I get to marry my best friend this month,” accompanied by a snapshot of the pair. Danielle, echoing the sentiment, promptly responded beneath the photo where she was seen resting her head tenderly on Jeremy’s shoulder, saying: “No, I get to marry MY best friend this month.”

Danielle also shared a heartfelt message about her soon-to-be spouse, expressing her gratitude for his unwavering support, calling him her “anchor.”

The wedding itself was a vision of beauty, but mere days after they exchanged their vows, the family was struck by the sorrowful loss of Jeremy’s father.

Danielle, who was deeply moved by the tragic passing of her father-in-law, posted an emotional tribute to him on social media.

“Papa John… You devoted your life to advocating for and creating miracles for the most vulnerable children within your community.

“The first time we crossed paths was in an airplane hangar that you and your dedicated helpers had transformed into the North Pole, fulfilling the dreams of a young girl battling cancer. You gave her a spark of hope, serenity, and joy. Just as you bestowed upon us.”

She continued, “You embraced me with open arms from the very beginning, held belief in me even when I struggled to believe in myself, and saw the goodness in me when others may have faltered. You gently held me in your heart, allowing me to trust you.”

“As many know, it takes me a while to open up. You journeyed countless miles on numerous occasions to be with us, opening your home when we needed your magical presence to guide us through challenging times,” the American Pickers star continued.
