Hamburger Potato Cheese Casserole
Ingredients:

Ground beef | 1 pound |
Onion, chopped | 1 small |
Potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced | 4 cups |
Cheddar cheese, shredded | 2 cups |
Cream of mushroom soup | 1 can |
Milk | 1/2 cup |
Salt | To taste |
Pepper | To taste |
Butter | 1 tablespoon |
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer half the potatoes in the dish.
- Spread beef mixture over potatoes.
- Combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour half over beef.
- Sprinkle 1 cup cheese over soup mixture.
- Layer remaining potatoes, then pour remaining soup mixture.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
- Uncover, sprinkle with remaining cheese, and bake for 15-20 minutes more or until bubbly and potatoes are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
