Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Frozen cheese ravioli 1 bag (25 oz)
Ground beef or Italian sausage 1 pound, browned and drained
Marinara sauce 1 jar (24 oz)
Diced tomatoes 1 can (14.5 oz), drained
Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon
Mozzarella cheese 2 cups, shredded
Parmesan cheese 1 cup, grated
Fresh basil leaves (optional) For garnish

Instructions:

  1. Brown and drain the ground beef or Italian sausage.
  2. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  3. Add a layer of frozen ravioli, covering the sauce as much as possible.
  4. Top with some browned meat, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, and add some diced tomatoes.
  5. Generously sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the meat and tomato layer.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5, using all the ingredients and finishing with a cheese layer on top.
  7. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes after turning it off. This allows it to set slightly for easier serving.
  9. Serve hot with a sprinkle of fresh basil leaves, if desired.
