Olive oil 1 tablespoon
Garlic cloves, minced 2
Salt 1 teaspoon
Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric (optional) 1/4 teaspoon
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Sauté the sliced onions slowly in olive oil until caramelized and golden brown. This takes about 20-25 minutes.
