Ingredients:

All-purpose flour 2 cups
Unsalted butter, softened 1 cup
Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Sweetened condensed milk 1 can (14 ounces)
Packed brown sugar 1 cup
Unsalted butter 2 tablespoons
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Chopped pecans 1 1/2 cups
Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare your baking dish.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients for the crust and mix until crumbly. Press the mixture into the pan and bake until lightly golden.
  3. While the crust bakes, make the caramel layer by simmering sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, butter, and vanilla extract in a saucepan.
