Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Frozen pineapple chunks 2 cups
Milk (dairy or non-dairy) 1/4 cup
Lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon
Lime juice 1/2 teaspoon
Sugar (or honey) 2 tablespoons
Salt Pinch
Whipped cream (optional) 1 cup

Instructions:

  1. Blend the Pineapple: Add the frozen pineapple chunks to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until the pineapple is broken down into small, crumbly pieces.

  2. Add the Liquids: Pour in the milk, lemon juice, and lime juice. Blend again until the mixture starts to become smooth and creamy.

  3. Sweeten the Mix: Add the sugar (or honey) and a pinch of salt. Blend until fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed.

  4. Incorporate Whipped Cream (Optional): For a richer texture, fold in 1 cup of whipped cream. You can either fold it in by hand or blend it briefly until combined.

  5. Serve Immediately: Transfer the pineapple whip to a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe into serving bowls for a classic soft-serve look. Alternatively, scoop the mixture directly into bowls.

  6. Garnish and Enjoy: Garnish with a slice of pineapple or a maraschino cherry for a tropical touch. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Dole Whip!
