Kentucky Blackberry Cobbler

Followed the recipe exactly, no substitutes! It was excellent!!!

With fresh berries it was not too sweet….berries were tart so it balanced everything out!

Will definitely make it again, everyone loved it!

If your husband is a diabetic so you can substitute the sugar for Truvia and it is delicious and absolutely perfect!

What do you need to make Kentucky Blackberry Cobbler 

2 ½ cups fresh blackberries

1 cup sugar

1 cup flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup milk

1 stick unsalted butter, melted

How to make Kentucky Blackberry Cobbler

FIRST STEP:

Mix blackberries with sugar and set aside for 30-45 minutes

Preheat oven to 375

SECOND STEP:

In a separate bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt, and milk until well combined

Stir in melted butter

THIRD STEP:

Pour into 9×9 baking dish

Spoon blackberries and sugar on top

FOURTH STEP:

Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour

Serve warm
